“I visited India in 1987 from my place of privilege and comfort in Australia.

What I experienced, as a teacher in an Indian classroom, was the ‘wholesale robbery’ of the childhood of children. I made a vow to return to India to make a difference. My family had faith and belief in my vision. In addition to this my parents always gave my brothers and me the belief that we could choose to be, and aspire to achieve, anything our hearts and minds desired.

Our educational philosophy ignites the same belief in our children, giving them the confidence that they can be whoever they want to be and they can achieve whatever they aspire to achieve.

At Kangaroo Kids Jabalpur, children are provided with consistent nurturing experiences and are encouraged to explore the environment to ignite their unique potentials. This is accomplished through the underlying principles of our curriculum like Brain based learning, Integrated, interdisciplinary and theme based curriculum, Blooms Taxonomy and Multiple intelligences.

Our curriculum incorporates child development theories and teaching practices of different theorists. These theories are essential to know and understand children- how they think, feel and how we can help them in the learning process.

Our curriculum strongly emphasises on the children’s intellectual (cognitive), language, social/emotional, physical, creative and aesthetic development.
